Execute Authority

Author: Dalton Fury

I have read and listened to all of the books in the Dalton Fury, Delta Force series and found each of them to be extraordinary. This one, “Execute Authority,” book Five, is the best.

The entire series is an adrenaline junkie's dream! It is a combination of military thriller and espionage thriller with lots of action and intense suspense. I personally believe it’s one of the most underrated series out there but should be considered alongside with Mark Greaney's Gray Man, Ben Coes' Dewey Andreas, Brad Thor’s Scot Harvath and undoubtedly Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp.

Execute Authority definitely should be included as one of the best military/espionage thriller series in the genre. Sadly Dalton Fury (Tom Greer) died of cancer, shortly after writing this book, and I don’t think anyone else will be able to capture the pace, characters, background knowledge, and heart as he did.

Execute Authority was an excellent action thriller novel! If you liked any of Dalton Fury’s other books, you will surely enjoy this last one. The story line was believable, the characters realistic - flawed and heroic and in the audiobook, the narration by Ari Flakos was superb. A ‘must have’ series by any action thriller enthusiast. RIP Ranger Greer
